Crystal Simmons

I just think that the Parole Board members need to be Fired because they did not even listen to Vincent. It was a one-sided thing. They need to bring back all the evidence that shows that Vincent Simmons is not the man they are looking for. In my opinion, all this was made up by the women. Just to save themselves from getting in trouble with their parents. And if all blacks look alike how can you say or point out the man that supposedly did that to you, and how were you raped if the doctor's reports showed that you haven't been touched. This a Trick of the Devil that Needs to be Exposed and when it is the Devil will have to pay back 7 times to Vincent Simmons. I believe God is for Justice and It will be Done In Jesus' Name.

  1. Certainly the Parole Board need replacing. I have never witnessed such arrogance and indifference in the whole 6o years of my life. Who WERE those people ?
That Vincent is innocent there is NO DOUBT ...that the trial was corrupt there is no doubt ... and I personally would like to see a civil lawsuit against the supposed victims. Maybe then Vincent would get closer to witnessing freedom. If I had the money, I'd willingly use it to get this totally innocent man free.

    1. I just watched that Angola life on the farm, what a disgrace!! I thought that one man who said to the lady vic, well I wouldn't be alone with you either comment, he would at least give Vincent a listen to his side but no! And did you see how they didn't even talk about the case, they said he had 20 years to come up with this, yeah thats why the DEA hid those files and the line up he was the only one in cuffs, (pick that guy) I am fuming, I am a Canadian girl and I do think he is innocent, with comments from the girl as they all look the same to me and back in those days the girl was told to pick the one in the cuffs I just KNOW IT! Well it's 2017 now and I don't know if anyone looks on this, the last I see is 2012, but I will be notified if anyone responds, I hope that poor man gets out!

  3. This case has haunted me to my very core. I normally have no regard for prisoners because I feel that most deserve to be there. But after watching the documentary years ago on HBO, I have followed this case because I believe that he is innocent. What can we do to get this man his freedom?

  4. I live in Australia but is there anything I can do to help get this man a fair trial? I watched a documentary on him and am disgusted to hear a 100 year sentence with no DNA evidence and a doctors report saying the 'victims' were Virgin. A brutal rape would show signs yet a doctors report has been ignored in his case.
He was hand cuffed and put in a line up with men who were uncuffed, may aswell have had a "pick me" sign to him to hold by police.
This man deserves his justice, this is a horrible case of racism, it makes me sick to think a parol board can ignore these facts, how can they sleep at night.

  6. Wow. I just watched the Angola Prison documentary from 1998 and I can't believe what I saw. That parole board was a joke. Hearing the victims flat out, racist testimony and his pleas to the board was painful. I can't believe that he was denied. He was the only man handcuffed in the lineup and that alone should have ruined the DA's case. He was specifically picked out and set up to be picked out in that line up. I hope that eventually this man finds his way out of Angola Prison and that he is able to be a spokesmen for inmates who are rushed through the system and wrongfully convicted. This man deserves a serious apology and punitive damages for the years he's lost. That parole board was a joke. I hope that they are all fired.

  7. Guilty. Read the transcripts of the police interviews and the trial people. This was not some random black guy attacking in the dark. He approached the group at 7-11, hung out with and befriended them. Talked for quite some time about who they knew in common, smoked some weed with them and then asked for a ride home. After driving around for a while with Simmons supposedly giving them directions to his house, he pulls a knife and decides he's going to rape the female children. After repeatedly raping the girls and letting them in and out of the trunk several times, he then drives around with one of the girls talking about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I'm quite sure after hours of contact and conversation the trio would have no problem identifying the guy, even if one of them said all blacks look alike. The whole thing about one of the girls still being a virgin is not that shocking as he may not have been able to fully penetrate the child he was raping.

    1. Actually, the 'brutal rape' these 'children' described would have most definitely resulted in the hymen being torn, not to mention trauma, bruising, and other injuries. Even 2 weeks later there would have been evidence if it had actually happened. You cannot get through such a brutal rape with your hymen intact. The kids lied. Plain and simple. And they ruined a mans life. He had an alibi. The DA just didn't want to hear it, and wanted to throw the book at any black man they could pin it on.

  8. Even though he is guilty as hell, I think he has served enough time and should be released on lifetime parole and closely monitored as a sex offender for life. The fact that he is clinging to his lie speaks to his lack of moral character.

  9. No innocent man deserves that those lil girls lied on this man because of his color and the parole board wasn't no better I believe this man is innocent and if you can't see that then maybe it's time for you to go make an optometrist appointment

  13. I would need more information in order to speak on this. DNA evidence???? There had to be a rape kit done even in the seventies.

  16. Irv Magri ruined the PI industry with politics. I have contacts too politically, not just you Irv, google me and you'll find out. I will see to it that this man gets a new trial and has his day in court. Take that to the bank.
